Orientation Meeting Friday 9-11-09
Just a quick reminder that our Orientation meeting is tomorrow!!! If you didn’t get to make it to our open house, not to worry, you still have time to join 4-H this year and be involved with our co-op.
We are meeting at the East Independence Church of Christ on 291 Hwy, just north of 23rd Street in Independence. If you need directions, please click on the orange “Directions” tab. Please arrive at 9:45 a.m. so we can start our meeting promptly at 10 a.m.
If you would please print out the Youth Membership and health forms and fill them out as much as possible for each child, it would greatly streamline the meeting tomorrow. If you want to become a volunteer and help lead some project(s), you can also print and fill out the Adult volunteer application and health forms. 4-H dues for the youth are $20 per year per child. This fee includes an insurance that covers that child during 4-H sponsored activities. Fees for the Adult volunteers are $2, which covers insurance for the volunteer as well.
We will be having a fun demonstration of making ice cream tomorrow and a brief program on citizenship in addition to our regular monthly business meeting. We are planning for a fun year, and we hope you can join us!
