Beginning Clown Workshop
If your child has a hankering to learn more about clowning and possibly do it as a project this year, this sounds like a great resource to utilize with the project curriculum supplements linked here. FREE BEGINNING CLOWN WORKSHOP
Northland Clown Guild Alley 217& RSVP Clowns will present a free beginning clown workshop on Saturday, October 3, 2009 at North Kansas City Hospital , from 9 AM – 5 PM. It will be held in the Skyview Room of the main hospital, 2800 Clay Edwards Drive, North Kansas City , Missouri . The history of clowning will be taught, along with a make up demo, costuming, and the use of props. There will be hands on time for the make up and costuming. Demonstrations will include magic, face painting, juggling, balloon twisting and comedy. The Happy Store and Fantastic Clowning & Magic vendors will be there to help with all your clown needs. The hospital cafeteria is available for lunch. Alley 217 & RSVP Clowns have held 2 regional conventions and 8 previous workshops with 100+ years of combined clowning!
